AI Quran Recitation Tracking: Recite, the AI Follows You Word by Word

Turn on the mic and recite: the AI recognises every word in real time, colours what is right, flags mistakes and skipped words, then shows your progress session after session.

What is AI recitation tracking?

AI recitation tracking listens to your Quran recitation as you recite and compares every word with the mushaf text. The expected word is underlined, correctly recited words appear as you go, and a mistake or skipped word is flagged immediately.

Speech recognition runs directly on your phone: the model is downloaded once, and your voice is not sent to a server for analysis.

Ideal for revising what you have memorised (Hifz): hide the text, recite from memory and let the AI reveal the words as you recite.

How does AI recitation tracking work?

  1. Open a page and tap the mic — start wherever you like: the AI finds the passage you are reciting and turns the pages automatically.
  2. Recite out loud — every recognised word lights up in colour, and the expected word is underlined so you never lose your place.
  3. Hide the text to recite from memory — the text is revealed as you recite, or stay on a blank page; a hint reveals the next word if you get stuck.
  4. See your mistakes straight away — wrong, skipped or hesitant words are flagged, and the session summary appears as soon as you turn off the mic.
  5. Analyse your tajweed — on compatible Android phones, an optional analysis spots tajweed mistakes: madd too short or too long, qalqalah, ghunnah, shaddah…
  6. Track your progress — streak, accuracy, mistakes per page, trend curve, recitation time, verse-by-verse mastery and spaced review of weak verses.
