We do not collect any direct identity information (name, email) unless you create an optional account, use the recitation correction feature, or voluntarily contact us via the contact form. The app also uses technical services (anonymized usage statistics, crash tracking, in-app purchases) that process technical identifiers from your device. If you use the optional recitation correction feature, your voice recording (data that may be considered sensitive/biometric) is securely stored to provide you with feedback on your pronunciation. Outside of this optional feature, we do not process any sensitive personal information.
No, we do not receive any information from third parties other than the technical services listed below (Firebase, Google AdMob, app stores).
We process your information to operate the app, measure its usage in aggregate, diagnose technical issues, manage subscriptions, and respond to your contact messages.
We share certain technical data with our providers (Google Firebase, Google AdMob), who act as processors for the app's operation. We do not sell any data.

If you contact us through the contact form built into the app, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message, along with associated technical information (platform, language, app version, device type, time zone) so we can respond to you and diagnose any issues.
If you create an optional account, we collect your email address (email sign-in) or the information transmitted by Google or Apple when signing in through these services (account identifier, name, and email address if you choose to share them), in order to create and secure your profile and to sync your progress and your Premium subscription.
In Short: If you use recitation correction, your voice recording is securely sent to our servers (Google Firebase Storage) so it can be analyzed and/or reviewed by an examiner.
Voice may be considered biometric or sensitive data depending on applicable regulations. When you use the recitation correction feature, your audio recording is stored in a space dedicated to your account (Google Firebase Storage), accessible only to you and to examiners authorized to process your submission, solely to provide you with feedback on your pronunciation. These recordings are not used for advertising purposes and are not shared with third parties beyond the technical providers necessary for their storage (Google Firebase). You may request deletion of your recordings at any time by contacting us (see the "How can you contact us" section).
Like most apps, Noor Phonetic Quran uses third-party technical services that automatically collect certain usage and device data:

On iOS, the display of personalized ads may come with an "App Tracking Transparency" (ATT) permission request from the operating system. You can decline this permission at any time from your device's privacy settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking); the app remains fully functional if you decline.
We do not collect your precise location; the app does not request location access permission.

We process the data described above in order to: (i) provide and maintain the app's features (reading, memorization, khatma, quizzes, recitation correction), (ii) respond to messages you send through the contact form, (iii) diagnose and fix technical issues, (iv) measure aggregate feature usage to prioritize our development efforts, (v) manage the premium subscription and ad display for non-premium users.
In Short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e., a legal basis) to do so under applicable law.

Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to process your request, then archived or deleted. Aggregated statistical data (Firebase Analytics) is retained according to Google Firebase's default settings.

No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized as of yet. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.
