Recite the Quran before you can read Arabic
Noor Phonetic Quran shows every verse of the Quran in phonetic transcription: you read the sounds of Arabic with the Latin alphabet, without having learned the Arabic script.
A transliteration guide explains the sounds that do not exist in your language, with audio for each letter, and the tajweed modules (articulation points, rules) help you move gradually to the Arabic text.
How to read the Quran in transliteration?
- Read the transliteration page by page — the transcription follows the mushaf, next to the Arabic text and the translation.
- Learn the sounds specific to Arabic — the transliteration guide links each symbol (ḥ, ṣ, ḍ, ṭ, ʿ…) to its Arabic letter and an audio recording, along with the short and long vowels.
- Listen at the same time — verse-by-verse audio lets you hear the exact pronunciation of what you read.
- Check your pronunciation — recite out loud with AI tracking and work on the articulation points of the letters.
